System Settings

Purpose

The System Settings screen in Clarity Transform is a key-value grid: each row is one named setting and its value.

Where to find it

Settings → System → System Settings

What you see

The screen has no page header. It shows a single grid.

Columns

  • Setting Name
  • Setting Value

Settings

There are 12 settings. Their names, exactly as shown in Setting Name:

  • LOGGING_LEVEL_SETTING
  • HealthCheckAlertingEnabled
  • HealthCheckAlertEmails
  • PowerShell.RunspacePoolMaxSize
  • HealthCheckIntervalMinutes
  • HealthStatusPollIntervalSeconds
  • GuardRailDefaultsSeeded
  • CandidateGroupingDegreeThreshold
  • CandidateGroupingSizeThreshold
  • EphemeralPortFloor
  • FlowDerivedListeningPortMinSources
  • GoNoGoRequiredToStartLiveRunbooks: a switch tied to Go/No-Go decisions and live runbooks.

What is confirmed about individual settings:

  • LOGGING_LEVEL_SETTING: the Settings → Field Management → Dropdown Lists screen lists its allowed values as Verbose, Debug, Information, Warning, Error and Fatal. These are the same levels as the Level filter on Event Log.
  • CandidateGroupingDegreeThreshold, CandidateGroupingSizeThreshold, EphemeralPortFloor and FlowDerivedListeningPortMinSources: application inference settings. Inference and grouping are run with Run inference and Run grouping on Candidate Applications. CandidateGroupingDegreeThreshold and CandidateGroupingSizeThreshold are the degree and size thresholds for grouping. Saving a setting does not start a run: select Run inference or Run grouping afterwards.

Actions

The grid uses the standard Clarity grid toolbar: Create New, Edit, Remove selected, Clear selection, Reload table data, Enable spreadsheet editing, Export CSV and Import CSV. Export is CSV only. Import CSV is shown but is refused for System Settings, so change each setting with Edit instead (see Change a setting's value). Each row has a View Details row action (the eye icon).

Filters

Above the grid are a Search: box and a page-size selector (10, 25, 50 or All entries per page), and each column has its own filter.

The grid remembers its Search: text, column filters, sort order and page size between visits. If the grid shows fewer rows than you expect, clear the Search: box and the filter row.

Fields

The create form (Create new entry) and the edit form (Edit entry) have two text fields, Setting Name and Setting Value. The form footer has Cancel and Save.

How to

Change a setting's value

  1. Go to Settings → System → System Settings.
  2. Select the setting's row, then select the edit icon (Edit). The Edit entry form opens with the setting's values.
  3. Change Setting Value.
  4. Select Save.
  • Background Jobs and Licenses: the other screens under Settings → System.
  • Communications: SMTP profiles and Teams notifications are configured under Settings → Communications, not here.
  • Event Log: its Level filter uses the same levels as LOGGING_LEVEL_SETTING.
  • Candidate Applications: the application inference screen with Run grouping.
  • Dropdown Lists: where the allowed values for LOGGING_LEVEL_SETTING are listed.
